Meditate on Nothing

I do not proclaim to be an expert in meditation however I can give some information based on what I have learned and personal experience.

First, I realize that there are many who have trouble shutting down. There are many who have a hard time meditating because they simply can’t stop thinking as though it is a matter of the brain on speed. So if you are reading this and have not conquered this issues, don’t worry and know that you will if you keep trying daily and with tenacity.

Once you can be in a meditative state for at least 15 minutes begin attempting to meditate on nothing. What I mean by that is meditate to not feel the body but to only feel your true self, the spirit. Meditate on feeling yourself as being light. Nothing but light. Once you reach this feeling it should feel as though you physically can’t feel your body. I am talking more than just relaxing to numbness your limbs. I am talking about that moment when you don’t feel yourself as physical and 3D. Once you reach that state attempt to stay there as long as you can.

The reason I say attempt to is because often when we realize we are managing to accomplish something we have been working on and something we see as very major to our development we can get so excited on the inside that we lose focus. We realize we did it and a moment later we have woke up our brain too much and to the point of coming out of it so to speak. So it is a test in itself to try to not wake up our brains with a little internal celebration.
