Change and Improvement of “The Self”

Friday, December 18th, 2009

butterfly_tattoo1If you met and old friend you hadn’t seen in many years you would probably ask them how they have been and what is new. Think for a moment and realize what answer you would give to this question if asked by someone who hadn’t seen you in some time. You would probably tell them about things such as job changes, promotions, moving to a new house that you are proud to have acquired or a particular neighborhood, and of course you would probably talk about your significant other and then your kids or grand kids. Hmmm. That is a lot of catching up and good information however there is no mention of “The Self.” The most important or what should be the most important thing to you. What about changes to the self?

Take away all the superficial things, except the kids because they are of course not superficial, but take away talk of a new job, the expensive vacation you were able to take, the new house, new cars, and now tell me what is new with you. Have you changed your way of thinking? Have you changed your way of treating people? Have you changed the way you see things and view life? Have you realized an importance in having lots of joy in your life? Have you changed your view on what are the important things in life? What is new with you?

Many times I hear people ask why this person or that person treats them badly. I often answer the question in a similar way and that is that it is not really about them. Most often it is not. Many times people are unhappy with their lives or a situation they are in and it is easier to direct their anger for their situation onto someone else than to look in the mirror and admit they are unhappy with the man looking back at them in the mirror. I giggle a little bit right now because Michal Jackson’s song “Man in the Mirror” just popped into my head and it is actually perfect for what I am trying to say. “I’m looking at the man in the mirror. I’m asking him to change his ways. And no message could have been any clearer, if you want to make a change, make a better way, then look at yourself and then make a change!” Sorry if the lyrics are not just right…I typed it as the song was playing in my head.

The self is so important but many people go through life never truly realizing that. Sure they understand at times the need to put themselves first but I am talking about seeing the importance of the way they treat the self and what they do for the self. The self have many needs but the most important one is LOVE. Unconditional love of the self and I am talking about the kind where you take the time to forgive the self, understand the needs of the self and then actually try to meet them. Once a person can satisfy the self then they no longer will need to lash out to hurt another because they will then be happy with themselves.

The next time you find yourself asking the question of why some people are hurtful to others, take the time and see it as an opportunity to look and see what need their behavior may point to within your own self, instead of looking at them and what their problem could be. Resolutions of problems with another always start with changes within your own self. Once you are satisfied with yourself you will not care two cents what negative thing another does because when The Self is happy and healthy there isn’t a negative thing that can affect you.

Wizard of Oz – Just a Movie or Instructions for Ascension

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

Recently a friend bought up watching the Wizard of Oz and at the time it was one of those moments for me where her mention of it really caught my attention for some reason. A few weeks later as I was writing a letter to a friend to help encourage her through a tough time and the movie came to mind. Usually when writing or speaking with someone I will get information from a higher source by way of little things that suddenly come to mind. It might be a vision of something, thoughts of something specific or even a certain song might pop into my head.

As I typed the letter to my friend and I began to discuss the Wizard of Oz, thinking she is going to think I have totally lost my marbles, it all came flowing out. There’s more to that movie than meets the eye. Watch it and pretend that it is all symbolism and the home Dorothy is trying to get to is the same home that we are all trying to get to. Back to the one, Christ Consciousness, that connection, expanded awareness, OUR HIGHER SELVES.

The movie would still be the same. As she travels her path she meets all kinds of obstacles and no one seems to have the answer to that simple question of how to get home or even can tell her where she is in relation to her home. Can she walk there? Does she need a magically broom to get there? Will she get there before she meets her doom or can she avoid all the pitfalls and still stay totally focused on her goal? As you know she does stay totally focused on her goal to the point where people are getting tired or hearing her asking about getting home. Why can’t you be satisfied with where you are at? It’s so beautiful so why not stay?

All the while people (midgets and such lol) tried to convince her that one man had all the answers for her…that he must cause he was the Great and Powerful Oz. For us sometimes the person is church, government, parents, friends, etc. What happened? Temporarily she believed that this Wizard must have all the answers cause he must be called great and powerful for a reason. The title though was just an illusion as well. She was convinced by many to put her faith in the Wizard and he sent her out to do negative things for him that he couldn’t do cause he was just living in fear himself. Living in fear he was not even in a place where he could help her. It would be like me saying I am gonna get someone who has barely started along their path to lead me and truth that they know the way. Would you trust to devil to lead you to God. Of course not, but the problem was that Dorothy didn’t know her own self and who she was. Everything she needed was inside her to get her home. All she had to do was think of home with love in her heart and click her heels three time. Yeah three times…how’s that for symbolism…three (3) stands for the trilogy. Clicking the heels…the feet…represents mobility, independence and freedom. Taking steps in the right direction and contemplating your goals or your next step. I don’t believe for a minute that the story of the Wizard of Oz was not inspired from a higher source. And look at who she met along the way and the order she met them…yes, I am breaking down the Wizard of Oz…lol. She met first the scarecrow. The scarecrow indicates depression or that you are going through some crisis in your life. Moving on next to the Tin Man…represents mental and intellectual expansion. you are broadening your mind and opening yourself to new experiences…and wasn’t that what she was doing? Then she had to oil him cause he was STUCK and hadn’t been able to MOVE…oil represents that you may need to show more love and compassion in your life. Then the friends suggested BEFORE meeting the lion that she should go to the Wizard for help. Receiving some advice, signifies your high level of integrity and morality. Dorothy had that and it was important for you to see that the person that undertakes this journey has integrity and morality…or would have to acquire them. So then they are confronted by the lion who tries to put fear in them. The symbolism of being attacked by a lion, indicates that you have many obstacles to overcome. You must resist the force that is driving you to self-destruction. Then the lion itself represents great strength, aggression and power. You will overcome your emotions and/or difficulties. As king of the jungle, the lion also represents royalty, leadership, pride and dominion. (God says we as man are to have dominion over the Earth and everything on it…that is something he gave to us by who we are.) The lion says that you have much influence over others (just what God said when he said we had dominion over the Earth). You may also need to exercise restraint in your own personal and social life.

Exercise restraint over what really? Your own emotions…resist the force that could drive you to destruction and isn’t that what the Wizard tried to do when he sent Dorothy and her friends out to retrieve the broom of the wicked witch, thinking all along they would meet their death trying to do it. He sent him down that path that was really a path that led to self-destruction because they could have told him no. The choice was always their own, after all they had FREE-WILL. The lion trying to present himself as fearless was nothing but fearful. Ah, but what was it that he needed to be all that he was meant to be? A HEART! Is it a coincidence that the way to enlightenment is through the heart/heart chakra, the seat of the soul. It turned out that it was something that he had all along and just didn’t know it.

Just as Oz was in sight Dorothy ran into more pitfalls, one being the field of poppies. So there were pitfalls along the way. For some it is drugs which they use to fulfill an emotional need. She fell into that trap but then something so simple saved her from it. Rain. Rain cleanses and when she was cleansed she woke up and still she was focused on the goal and never thought again about the poppies again, except to tell people what she had been through to get to Oz. Oz looked so good but notice it never looked good enough for her to change her mind and decide she would just stay and chill. She then met the Wizard and he was from where she was from but he had accepted defeated and decided to stay in Oz because of the illusion of Oz. The dark ones disguised as members of a beautiful place told him he could be their leader and to his negative ego that sounded very nice since he did aspire to be a Politician. It all looked good to him, but it was just an illusion. Things looked good but it really wasn’t reality and we know it wasn’t because in the end she woke up to realize it was just a dream. No matter how bad or good something is or looks often it is just an illusion and a reality we have created for ourselves that is temporary if we stay focused on the goal. We can chase after lots of money and expensive things that temporarily warm our heart but what it benefits you will be fleeting.

The obstacles in life are just little speed bump along the way and all we have to do is continue having integrity, morality and unconditional love and the rest will follow. Sure it doesn’t always look like we are where we want to be but we must be able to tell what is real versus what is an illusion.

The thing about the movie and Dorothy that stood out most to me was how she always stayed true to who she was. The thing that Yeshua would tell you if late at night you sat at the foot of your bed chatting as you both sipped hazelnut coffee would be that once you know who you are that you could not and never could be or act less than yourself. The very truth of the knowledge would empower you like the lion that didn’t know he was what he wanted to be all along but the fear hid the fact like a veil. As Yeshua said the kingdom of God/heaven is within you.

Acceptance

The Lesson of Acceptance

I was going to title this post “Acceptance of Others” which is actually the title of a channeling I recently read. I decided that “Acceptance” would be a much better title for this post because when I think of acceptance I not only think of acceptance of others but acceptance of all things regardless of whether they are things that can be changed or things that can not be change, or possibly should not be forced to change. Some may think acceptance and tolerance go hand in hand but really they do not. You can be tolerant but still not be in full acceptance of things and people.

How many of you have friends or family members who do a certain thing that you do not like? Possibly you hear yourself saying under your breath “Ohhh, she/he so annoys me sometimes!” And what do you do? Some times you try to discuss the issue with the person and then there are times when you decide to actually avoid a person because some of the things they do you find hard to swallow and even harder to keep continually biting your tongue. Yup, been there! For many of you who have been on a spiritual path for a while you recognize it for what it is. You tell yourself that it is okay because they are exactly where they are suppose to be at this point in their lives. You attempt to feel compassion for their situation because of the understanding you have of what is truly going on and not just the illusion. You tell yourself you will stay true to yourself no matter what and just ignore those things they do. You do all of those things and still deep inside you may feel annoyed and that you don’t have much tolerance for putting up with their crap for much longer. What is needed then? Acceptance!

The point you are at you need to learn to accept them for who they are even if you think they are the most screwed up person you know. Accept them for who they are and where they are at in their lives. Don’t look at them focused on the things about them you feel need to be changed and fixed. It is not your job to fix them or anyone else. That is only truly a concern of theirs. Do not think that just because you have the knowledge and expertise to help solve all their problems that it is your duty to step in and affect change in them. Again, it is not your duty to do that.

This may be a tough lesson for those who often help others because it is a part of their soul purpose. You may be feeling like you are flip-flopping back and forth. There are those you help who come to you or who are energetically drawn to you for help and of course that is fine. They are ready for that help and you give it to them generously. Then outside of the people you are put together with for the purpose of helping them are others who you are just to stand back and accept them for who they are and see and understand that it is not your job or duty to jump in and try and change them, especially if it is just not their time. They will come to the places they need to be in life in their own time just as you can remember that you resolved emotional issues and completed lessons when it was time and you were nudged by unseen forces to do so.

I can hear now someone saying to me “But, he did this to me and I didn’t deserve that!” or “But you don’t understand, she’s always doing this and the other thing to me!” Yes, and so? Think of this. If we never make any mistake or did those annoying things that others hated, what would we learn from and how would we eventually be able to correct ourselves and our behaviors? I am sure when you were in grade school you would not have appreciated a teacher who would berate you every time you got a math problem wrong. Hmmm, anyone out there have any anxieties related to math from those times when your Mother or Father would help you with homework and yell and get frustrated with you? Did you appreciate it? Did it help you learn? No, but you probably did learn that it was bad to make a mistake and that making mistakes were not acceptable. How did that make you feel, even now thinking about it? Do you really want to make another feel that way? What would that teach them and do you really think that would help them? No, of course not.

Use your own experiences from the past to help you to be able to show and give acceptance to others. Especially children because it is not to late to show them the way by leading by example. I am not saying do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I am saying do unto others the way you know to be the way of a higher spiritual being that you are.

Coaching/Teaching Session Information

Friday, September 25th, 2009

You will see a new link on the right side under PAGES regarding coaching/teaching sessions…

I have been coaching, teaching and mentoring for the past two years but as of yet I had not officially offered anyone my services. I basically up to this point asked God to guide those to me who needed my help. I would of course love to help everyone but of course that is not possible so I help as many as I can as I am guided to help them or they are guided to me.

After communicating with my guides over the course of months they gave me an idea I think will work for everyone…pretty much.

So after donating a minimum of $5.00 I will give you a one (1) hour coaching/mentoring session where you can receive help with psychic awakening and development, clairsentience development, empath development, ascension coaching, etc. Donations are via paypal.com.

You may find you only need help once or more on a regular or semi-regular basis. No matter what your need or how often I will be there to assist you.

If you have special financial needs feel free to email me and we can work something out. Also email me if you would rather have a free 30 minute session to decide if this is something you would like to do.

DETAILS

All session calls take place between the hours of 8:00PM and 2:00AM EST (5:00PM and 11:00PM PST). In the near future I will have wider availability.

After you have made your donation you will be taken to the instruction page which you need to make sure you save or print out for future reference.

I look forward to your call and helping you reach your goals!

Love,

Sherry

What Does Expanded Awareness Benefit You?

Monday, August 24th, 2009

Lately, the past few weeks, I have had many occasions to take a look back over the course of the past two to three years. There was a time when I would look back and the path behind me looked fuzzy and bleak even. Now I turn around on occasion and look back down that road and it is a beautiful road. It’s autumn and the leaves are so many wonderful colors along the tree lined street. There is a reason why I look back and the view is different. Awareness and understanding changes what you look back and see. Release of emotional baggage, forgiveness of self and others, and most importantly an understanding of self and who the true self is changes what you look back and see.

I can look back and see decisions I made that got me here. One important decision I want to discuss and the reason I wanted to write this today is a decision to rely almost solely on higher level spirits, including my higher self, for my spiritual and psychic education. Like many of you in the beginning when I was first starting to awaken and I had awakened my empathy fully I wanted to be around others like me. Others who would understand and not think I was weird or a freak. I felt I needed to be around those who had started down the path before me, the ones who had the answers. Of course that all made sense at the time, a time when I felt alone because no one in my circle of peeps at the time could comprehend what I was going through or even had an open enough mind to consider the things I was experiencing as reality. I consider myself very fortunate because early on I got a strong feeling that I needed to go it alone. By alone I mean just me and my guides, the ascended masters, archangels, and God. Even though I considered my ability to communicate with spirit at that time mediocre I learned to listen when I could hear, understand what I could when I felt, and learned the symbolism of dreams and nature. If I had it to do all over again I wouldn’t wish for kick ass clairaudience so it would be easier because now I realize that I learned more from nature, dreams and expanded awareness as I advanced than I would have from hearing a sentence or two. What I am saying is that I put my trust in THEM and SELF and they made everyday life and every part of it my classroom.

I did eventually learn that my original longing to be in a group with others who understood and accepted me to be fear based and a part of the negative ego. Of course I am not saying being in a group is bad but that if the reason for wanting to be there is something negative then that must eventually be resolved if you are to advance spiritually. If you do go the route of the group, be thankful, compassionate and understanding of your group but know when it is time to let go. My son is starting Kindergarten tomorrow (OMG…Tomorrow! Lol) and for the past five years every where he has gone I have driven him. I took him to his doctors appointments and didn’t leave his side, I took him to pre-school and saw him into his classroom safely, I took him to karate since he was two and was present for everything he learned, was tested on and every moment of advancement, I was with him outside as he played, and I never took my eyes off him as he played on the playground at the park. Tomorrow I will put him on a bus and he will be on his own…because it is time. So know when it is time for you to finally go off on your own and do it like my son is, fearless and with child-like excitement.

The journey may be new, the path you’re going down may be unknown to you, but you were born with everything you needed to succeed.

Don’t think for a minute that I made all right decisions. Believe me I made my share of decisions that either stopped me from moving forward or put me on the wrong path temporarily. Those decisions that had me making wrong turns down one way streets were necessary and there was always something to be learned from the things that on the outside seemed bad.

There is a point where you look back and the way you came just looks so awful, long and hard but then one day you wake up, and I am talking about expanded awareness, and all those things that made the path behind you look so awful actually make the path behind you the most beautiful road you have ever seen. Yes, when you can finally realize, and with a smile on your face and in your heart, that those things of the past had to happen just as they did. They were never wrong, but things that you yourself planned for to learn the lessons you needed to learn.

And what of those other players? The people in your life who you have struggled with, who did bad things to you, who seemed to be your road blocks and the cause of the emotional distresses that had you seeking out therapy, your priest or led you to addictions. What of them? They played the role they were requested to play for you. For the longest time I couldn’t figure out how I was suppose to only feel love for the people who were playing those roles in my life. I questioned so many times how I was ever going to be able to look at them and only feel love, compassion and understanding for them. I am not going to give you the answer because that would be easy but possibly gain you nothing. I am instead going to paint a picture for you.

Imagine that it is a time before your incarnation and you are sitting at a big conference table. This is a meeting you want to be at unlike the office meetings you may suffer through at your job. Lol. Around this table sits you and all the players in your life. The spirits who are good friends of yours on the other side who are going to play the role of your parents, siblings’, spouse, and friends. The spirit who is going to be the one who car jacks you and puts you in the hospital is there too and you smile at each other because you love each other very much and have since the beginning of your existence. The spirit who plays the role of the cheating husband who breaks your heart is there also for the meeting and although you love him in spirit you will end up hating him in life more than you hate anyone else. This meeting is for you, to discuss the roles everyone will play and the lessons they will help you to learn. You are the one more or less in charge of this meeting and are calling the shots. You have attended many meeting like this before in the past and gotten briefed on the role you are going to play in someone’s life. They each have in front of them notes you handed out, that you created yourself, which explain their roles and what you want them to do. It’s all your doing and you’re heading up that meeting with all in attendance being spirits you love so much.

Forget about whether or not you believe that scenario is possible and contemplate what you think if it is true and how you see the players in your life with that scenario I mind. Can you see the spirit you love so much on the other side who ends up being the man who car jacks you in a different light? Can you maybe see that he made a sacrifice for you by playing that role? He loved you so much he would play a role that would end up wrecking havoc on him because of cause and effect. Can you see that the role he is playing in your life helps you with a lesson but also is most likely a lesson for him as well? Can you see that you are both working at the same thing with the same goal of spiritual advancement? When you know the truth does forgiveness maybe come easier? Is compassion a little bit easier to give to your parents, siblings’, spouse, etc. with that expanded awareness? Okay the answer may be no right now and if it is that is okay. As your awareness expands understanding comes and you will be ready for it when it comes and it is not something that can be forced because you want to speed along on your spiritual journey. Just relax and enjoy the ride!

Changes to Our Belief System While on the Ascension Path

Saturday, June 27th, 2009

Growing up we are taught, almost groomed, to believe certain things and that life is a certain way. We are taught and our belief system is built up by so many people in our lives as well as the experiences we go through. People such as our parents, extended family and friends of family, teachers, churches, etc. Our belief system is also affected by experiences both good and bad.

I hear many questions and statements from people that are a product of their belief system. One common thing I hear from people is that they have been taught to believe that they will be punished and go to hell or some other horrible place after death. Some people also believe that if they have committed certain sins they will not be allowed to cross over into the light after death and will then be a lost soul for the rest of eternity. This is of course not truth but may have been ingrained in you from the time you were a small child by sermons you heard at church or during times when your parents were trying to convince you to behave.

On your path you will experience a gradual breaking down and rebuilding of your belief system. It is important to learn to use your abilities of DISCERNMENT along the way. Many times you will be presented with information that feels like a stretch for you to believe. You are not required to immediately accept a new truth but instead take the time to ask yourself if the information feels right to you or do you feel that something is just NOT right about the information you are being presented with. Be open to accepting new truths by not letting having existing truths be the reason for rejecting the new.

Every ONE is on the Ascension Path

Saturday, June 13th, 2009

Let’s think of the whole for a moment. What I mean by that is let’s think about everyone related to spirituality and ascension. Are you on a spiritual path? Is your neighbor? Your Mother? Your Father? Your Brother? Your Sister? Are they all on the ascension bandwagon? Well I don’t need to know you personally to be able to answer that question for you. The answer to all the above questions is a big huge YES!

Are you at this blog right now because you are an empath looking for some answers and maybe a little insight that will keep you going and not waiting to jump off the nearest bridge? Possibly you think maybe this post doesn’t apply to you because you are not on a spiritual journey. Maybe you don’t even believe in a higher source. Can I be the first one to tell you that you are indeed on a spiritual path? Congratulations!

There is always more than one way to skin a cat. There is never just one way to do something or for something to be accomplished. I use to think that I had to hurry up and get busy and start reading lots of spiritual material so I could not lose ground when it came to my spiritual path. I had this idea at one time that unless you were consciously working on ascension and consciously on a spiritual path that you were not. Well, our truths and beliefs change of course over time as our old belief systems are broken down. I had to break down many old beliefs and incorporate new ones before I could realize the whole big picture.

Ascension and a spiritual journey is something that happens all on it’s own whether we are intending it or not. For example, when you interact with someone do you ever stop to think “Hey, they are on a spiritual path just like I am and going through their lessons just like I am, they just aren’t conscious of it.” If you stop and realize that and deal with people based on that notion then you will notice your relationships and interaction with people improve greatly. Also, if you are consciously on your spiritual journey/ascension and they are but not conscious off it then you could think of yourself as big brother or big sister to them, regardless of how old or young they are. Sometimes you are interacting with someone who doesn’t understand that what the two of you are going through is a lesson. But you know it is. So you have an awesome opportunity to take the lead. Be the bigger person and take the lead and help them by doing what you have learned to do best, send them thoughts of love and light.

Let’s also discuss the question of “What if you do not believe in a higher source, God, Buddha, etc.?” It doesn’t matter really. There is no check list somewhere that has your name crossed out because you say you do not believe. That tells me that possibly your not believing is a part of a lesson you choose to learn in this lifetime. If you rise above where you are, no matter the lesson, then you will have learned the lesson and passed the test. For example, if your lesson is poverty, then if you manage in this lifetime to rise above it and move out of the state of poverty and do it in a way that shows integrity (I had to say integrity because it does matter how you rise up out of your situation) then you will have learned the lesson and passed the test and then can move on to the next.

When dealing with people take a look and see if you can spot what their lesson might be and if possibly you were meant to help each other with the lessons you are working on.

Explaining Your Spiritual Journey/Path

Sunday, June 7th, 2009

I am not worried about people who put so much importance into what a person is doing because they qualify and quantify people that way. That is their issue at this time and not mine or yours. Often when I first meet someone they want to know what I do. That is always a tough question for me to answer because I know some/many are only accepting of the traditional answers that will be accepted by society. But society and what the Jones are doing and what the Jones have decided is right and acceptable is not my concern. God is my only concern.

When I started on my spiritual journey I thought it was going to be all roses and cupcakes. Yeah, imagine…it would rain cupcakes everyday of the rest of my life. lol.  I never would have imagined that I would have meet with the level of disrespect I have dealt with. Now, don’t get me wrong, I understand that we all at different place and points in our life and along our journey and at different truths. So I do understand of course and can be forgiving. No, you are not respected because your employer is God. People have more respect for a person that can boast of a good insurance and 401K plan. lol. But God doesn’t have that…he has something better but many don’t see it as better unless it is something they can take to a teller window and put in the bank. Many see a person worth in terms of what they have, and the monetary success of their efforts. My job for God is simple…I follow my soul purpose and do what I was suppose to do in this lifetime which is to assist people along their spiritual path. We can call it whatever you would like…spiritual teacher, guide, mentor, advisor. Itdoesn’t matter really matter what you call me or what I call myself because that is not of such importance. But in doing what I am suppose to be doing God does not check in with me everyday and say “Well how much money did you make from it today?” Money doesn’t come first of course. The job…the task at hand comes first and foremost of course. So sometimes I am asked by people where does the money come from and it is worded something like “How do you get paid?” Ahhh and you see that the importance in what I do is not on the actions I take or how many people I help or IF I have the support I need to do such a task. It’s doesn’t upset me though…but it does make me squiggle a bit in my chair, I will admit. lol. I will admit that I lie when I answer this question because I feel the answer won’t be liked and I will be looked down upon by most. Well actually my abilities at this point have alreayd told me why the question is being ask so the reality is that is where my discomfort with the question comes from. Becuase of my abilities I alreayd know why the person is asking that question. The money comes from God. Well that’s the simple answer and the specifics are a little more complex than that of course. I can have anything I want. God looks out for me. Gas, food, clothing, hardware tools for making my wire art lol. I work for him and he looks out for me and in the last two years he has never let me down. Oh yeah, at time things may not be perfect and there is always something more I could say I want (who can’t say that) but I can honestly say that if I have a need and I ask he always makes sure I have it. It’s a different employer/employee relationship than you may be use to, but it being different and on a different level does not mean it deserve less respect.

When did the world and the people in it turn into a place where a person would want to hide their spirituality. When did this world become such a place that the least respected are the ones who have made the committment and sacrifice for God and their soul purpose? When and why?!

I write this as much for myself as for you. I feel that I am far from being the only one who has these feelings. I feel there are many of you out there who love and hate the question “What do you do?” in the same way I do. It is a part of the journey to get to the point where Yeshua (Jesus) was. Even if you are not very religious read 1 & 2 Timothy in the bible. Why? I will explain by giving here the introduction from my bible for 1 & 2 Timothy and you will see why I say read it…it’s very interesting and is for anyone who works for God. If you are on a spiritual journey then I consider that you work for God…regardless of how much time you spend in persuit of your spiritual and ascension goals.

1 Timothy summary - The epistles that reflect Paul’s concern for Timothy and Ttus are called the Pastorals and in many ways they are similar in vocabulary, style, and content. Traditionally, paul is seen as the author, but many scholars have found that problemactic, since provisions for offices and discipline (subordination codes) in the churches as stated in this corpus suggest a level of institutional development long after the martyrdom of Paul.

Timothy became a convert to Christianity during Paul’s mission to Lystra of Asia Minor (Acts 16:1-3). Timothy was son of a Jewish mother and a Greek father. Paul was deeply concerned about the development of young Timothy and here affectionately provides instructions for his Christian nuture as he matures into a leader.

2 Timothy summary - A sequel to 1 Timothy, this pastoral is one of the seven “prison epistles” (the others being Philippians, Colossians, Ephesian, Philemon, and the coorespondence to Timothy and Titus). Paul reminds Timothy of his early history and exhorts him to act in a manner worthy of his calling. The personal touches about Paul’s own ministry suggest that this epistle has elements that seem even earlier than 1 Timothy. The nature of the so-called heresay as detailed in this document along with other matters of church discipline indicates justification for a late dating of this document.

Moving Along Your Spiritual Path

Sunday, June 7th, 2009

I often hear from people who say that they are unable to do some things neccassary for themselves that are important for them to move along and advance on their spiritual path. Often it’s about not having enough time because of job, kids, etc. And then they say there is just not enough time left in a day to meditation, work on themselves, do things to treat themselves well both emotionally and physically. Here is my answer to that…

It’s time to take some action. The how? I am not sure for you how..but I know for myself in the last two years I have sacrificed a lot…I had to…I made a commitment an actual commitment that at a point you are asked to make and at that point you can choose to continue on your path or not but at that point going forward there is no turning back. For my spiritual path and what I have agreed to do and to follow my soul purpose, it comes first always. Other things at times have to get sacrificed and nothing is immune to this type of sacrificing.  That means even a traditional job doesn’t come before even if it means I have to suffer some how. But I don’t worry because I have come to the point where I know that if I follow he will take care of me and all my needs…and he has. If I say I need gas…that same day I have gas money. If I say I need anything…within a couple of days I have it. But that is because I believe in him. I know that I work for him and he looks out for me. That is the way it works and I can’t just say “Oh I know that is the way it works” I have to believe it and act as though I have totally complete faith in it. And not faking it and just saying I do. Remember in the bible about Sampson and how he and his wife wanted a baby. That’s Sampson right…I think. But his wife couldn’t have children. Sampson asked God to bless him with sons and God told him he would and that he would have two sons. But Sampson and his wife just didn’t see how it would be possible since his wife couldn’t have children. So they made arrangements for one of their slaves to be a surrogate and they had a son that way. Well then the wife did get pregnant…just like God had told him. But God was displeased with him because in them taking matter into their own hands by planning for the surrogate it showed that they didn’t have faith that God would really give them what they wanted. It showed the doubt they had in God’s word. So that is why I say I don’t just say that I believe that God is always going to look out for me…my actions even show that I believe he will…and he never lets me down.

Believe that anything is possible even if you can’t see how it could be possible.

By the way, seems Sampson had really great clairaudience.

Discovering Your Spiritual Purpose

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

I wanted to share this for those of you who are currently searching out their soul purpose or those of you who have thought about it but didn’t know how to figure it out. Well, if you are the later don’t feel bad. With all the reading I have done I never had a really good grasp of the process of figuring this out for yourself. It’s different when asking someone else to use their abilities to tell you what your soul purpose is because we are pulling the information from the Akashic Records. But discovering your own soul purpose for yourself can prove to be difficult but I do think it is more rewarding and will lead you to better, more fulfilling self discovery if you find your soul purpose on your own. Do you think you would prefer to be told your soul purpose rather than discover it for yourself?

There are ways to discover your spiritual purpose. They include: 1) opening to and meditating upon the images that come into your mind during moments of stillness and silence (Don’t forget to ask the question first before you meditate. Ask to know your soul purpose and go into your meditation focusing on that goal); 2) becoming an anthropologist of your past within this lifetime to gain insight into your purpose; and 3) seeking visions, information and guidance from your higher self and your future self; and 4) journeying into the Akashic Records to view key moments of your current life, including your pre-birth planning session, your last day on Earth and other key moments.

I did #4 today during a nap from 1:30pm to 4:00pm. I don’t normally nap longer than an hour when I take a nap during the day. I asked to be awakened after I was finished receiving everything regarding my pre-birth planning session. I was awoken promptly after the last part of my dream by a mysterious text message to my phone. lol. I just love how my guides work! Great use of technology. lol.

I will share the dream and symbolisms as soon as I complete translating the dreams symbols.
