Changes to Our Belief System While on the Ascension Path

Saturday, June 27th, 2009

Growing up we are taught, almost groomed, to believe certain things and that life is a certain way. We are taught and our belief system is built up by so many people in our lives as well as the experiences we go through. People such as our parents, extended family and friends of family, teachers, churches, etc. Our belief system is also affected by experiences both good and bad.

I hear many questions and statements from people that are a product of their belief system. One common thing I hear from people is that they have been taught to believe that they will be punished and go to hell or some other horrible place after death. Some people also believe that if they have committed certain sins they will not be allowed to cross over into the light after death and will then be a lost soul for the rest of eternity. This is of course not truth but may have been ingrained in you from the time you were a small child by sermons you heard at church or during times when your parents were trying to convince you to behave.

On your path you will experience a gradual breaking down and rebuilding of your belief system. It is important to learn to use your abilities of DISCERNMENT along the way. Many times you will be presented with information that feels like a stretch for you to believe. You are not required to immediately accept a new truth but instead take the time to ask yourself if the information feels right to you or do you feel that something is just NOT right about the information you are being presented with. Be open to accepting new truths by not letting having existing truths be the reason for rejecting the new.

Every ONE is on the Ascension Path

Saturday, June 13th, 2009

Let’s think of the whole for a moment. What I mean by that is let’s think about everyone related to spirituality and ascension. Are you on a spiritual path? Is your neighbor? Your Mother? Your Father? Your Brother? Your Sister? Are they all on the ascension bandwagon? Well I don’t need to know you personally to be able to answer that question for you. The answer to all the above questions is a big huge YES!

Are you at this blog right now because you are an empath looking for some answers and maybe a little insight that will keep you going and not waiting to jump off the nearest bridge? Possibly you think maybe this post doesn’t apply to you because you are not on a spiritual journey. Maybe you don’t even believe in a higher source. Can I be the first one to tell you that you are indeed on a spiritual path? Congratulations!

There is always more than one way to skin a cat. There is never just one way to do something or for something to be accomplished. I use to think that I had to hurry up and get busy and start reading lots of spiritual material so I could not lose ground when it came to my spiritual path. I had this idea at one time that unless you were consciously working on ascension and consciously on a spiritual path that you were not. Well, our truths and beliefs change of course over time as our old belief systems are broken down. I had to break down many old beliefs and incorporate new ones before I could realize the whole big picture.

Ascension and a spiritual journey is something that happens all on it’s own whether we are intending it or not. For example, when you interact with someone do you ever stop to think “Hey, they are on a spiritual path just like I am and going through their lessons just like I am, they just aren’t conscious of it.” If you stop and realize that and deal with people based on that notion then you will notice your relationships and interaction with people improve greatly. Also, if you are consciously on your spiritual journey/ascension and they are but not conscious off it then you could think of yourself as big brother or big sister to them, regardless of how old or young they are. Sometimes you are interacting with someone who doesn’t understand that what the two of you are going through is a lesson. But you know it is. So you have an awesome opportunity to take the lead. Be the bigger person and take the lead and help them by doing what you have learned to do best, send them thoughts of love and light.

Let’s also discuss the question of “What if you do not believe in a higher source, God, Buddha, etc.?” It doesn’t matter really. There is no check list somewhere that has your name crossed out because you say you do not believe. That tells me that possibly your not believing is a part of a lesson you choose to learn in this lifetime. If you rise above where you are, no matter the lesson, then you will have learned the lesson and passed the test. For example, if your lesson is poverty, then if you manage in this lifetime to rise above it and move out of the state of poverty and do it in a way that shows integrity (I had to say integrity because it does matter how you rise up out of your situation) then you will have learned the lesson and passed the test and then can move on to the next.

When dealing with people take a look and see if you can spot what their lesson might be and if possibly you were meant to help each other with the lessons you are working on.

Moving Along Your Spiritual Path

Sunday, June 7th, 2009

I often hear from people who say that they are unable to do some things neccassary for themselves that are important for them to move along and advance on their spiritual path. Often it’s about not having enough time because of job, kids, etc. And then they say there is just not enough time left in a day to meditation, work on themselves, do things to treat themselves well both emotionally and physically. Here is my answer to that…

It’s time to take some action. The how? I am not sure for you how..but I know for myself in the last two years I have sacrificed a lot…I had to…I made a commitment an actual commitment that at a point you are asked to make and at that point you can choose to continue on your path or not but at that point going forward there is no turning back. For my spiritual path and what I have agreed to do and to follow my soul purpose, it comes first always. Other things at times have to get sacrificed and nothing is immune to this type of sacrificing.  That means even a traditional job doesn’t come before even if it means I have to suffer some how. But I don’t worry because I have come to the point where I know that if I follow he will take care of me and all my needs…and he has. If I say I need gas…that same day I have gas money. If I say I need anything…within a couple of days I have it. But that is because I believe in him. I know that I work for him and he looks out for me. That is the way it works and I can’t just say “Oh I know that is the way it works” I have to believe it and act as though I have totally complete faith in it. And not faking it and just saying I do. Remember in the bible about Sampson and how he and his wife wanted a baby. That’s Sampson right…I think. But his wife couldn’t have children. Sampson asked God to bless him with sons and God told him he would and that he would have two sons. But Sampson and his wife just didn’t see how it would be possible since his wife couldn’t have children. So they made arrangements for one of their slaves to be a surrogate and they had a son that way. Well then the wife did get pregnant…just like God had told him. But God was displeased with him because in them taking matter into their own hands by planning for the surrogate it showed that they didn’t have faith that God would really give them what they wanted. It showed the doubt they had in God’s word. So that is why I say I don’t just say that I believe that God is always going to look out for me…my actions even show that I believe he will…and he never lets me down.

Believe that anything is possible even if you can’t see how it could be possible.

By the way, seems Sampson had really great clairaudience.
