If like me you often read various writings about empathy, psychic abilities or ascension you probably hear the phrase “Hold Your Light” often. But what does that really mean? What does it mean to you? This is one of those phrases that are stated so often but many times not explained in detailed. It’s like saying “Hold your liquor.” Well we know what “Hold your liquor” means but what if you were from another planet where there was no liquor and the things taken in were for nourishment purposes only and not pleasure. In that case you probably wouldn’t know what that phrase meant or you would make an assumption that it meant to hold the glass without spilling it. lol.

I know the writing has been scarce for the past few months. I make no apologies, it is just something that happens here and there. No matter where I am or what level you would consider me I too am always learning and growing so I tend to have down times where I may be going through changes and trying to acclimate myself, or where I am just needing to focus 100% on my growth and ascension. I am never too far away and of course love reading and responding to all the comments this blog receives.

I was thinking this morning and before I started smelling burning rubber something came to me. Ego is always thought of as something bad that should be always controlled. That maybe be true but when someone responds or speaks with ego is that a sign of something that we should be paying attention to?

People have different views about the Ego. So I set out on a quest to figure out once and for all what is the deal about this thing so many have.

Ego is something we are born with. Don’t agree? All you have to do is think back and try to remember memories of first exibiting it and you will see that it has always been there. Of course I do beleive that some peoples ego are more balanced than others and some peoples ego is more out of control than others. But every one has ego and is suppose to have ego. Are you on a spiritual quest? Maybe your goal is enlightenment? It is not that you are not suppose to have ego at all, but you are suppose to have a balanced ego and to balance the ego for many is the greatest challenge they face.
