Develop Your Empathy - Charkas Connected to Emapthy

Friday, February 20th, 2009

I am writing this post for Lucille but hopefully this will be helpful to many of you.

Here is a senerio that is what I acutally experienced and lead me to deeply wonder if I was an empath…

Although all the signs were there I did not actually start seriously wondering if I was an empath until I was in my late 30’s after the birth of my son. I swear, I think having a child does something to change you so deeply. Parts of yourself that were always there unrealized start coming to the surface. Suddenly I couldn’t watch a movie or the news without totally losing it and bawling or shaking uncontrollably. I knew something was up but for about a year I just couldn’t figure out if I just never noticed that I was sensitive to certain things or if something was really changing within me…or awakening.

Empathy - Scientifically Speaking

Sunday, January 11th, 2009

Even though many know that empathy has been researched on a scientific level it still amazes me how many people tell me they just don’t beleive it or think that it points to a medical problem. I know, I know…that is like saying it is a bad thing to be able to relate to people more deeply when most people would agree that socially speaking it is probably considered healthier and more socially acceptable to be able to empathize more. Else why would they have many many classes and programs related to being more empathetic, especially for the medical professionals.

Ego - How Can It Be Helpful?

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

I was thinking this morning and before I started smelling burning rubber something came to me. Ego is always thought of as something bad that should be always controlled. That maybe be true but when someone responds or speaks with ego is that a sign of something that we should be paying attention to?

McCain Vs. Obama and the Empath Perspective

Thursday, September 25th, 2008

Fellow empath’s…I have been pondering something. I just like others want to hear McCain and Obama debate each other. I want to hear what both sides are saying they have to offer of course. I always like to think I am making the decision for who to vote on based on the facts and what is important and not based on these commercials that are both sides hitting below the belt and taking cheap shots. Although I am going to make my decision based on who I really think will do right by the United States of course there’s that empathic side of me again. Yes…again! lol.

Empathy: Feeling Casey Anthony

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

Many may not like that I am going to say this but I feel very sorry for Casey Anthony and her parents. I try not to watch the news because the news portrays all the bad in the world and only about 1% of the good if on a given day we are lucky. And as an empath watching the news is very hard anyway because I pick up peoples emotions quite strongly, that is if I let my guard down. There is a part of me that believes I am led occasionally to let my guard down so that I can see the truth of things sometimes. I think the happened today.

The Empath Riddle

Monday, September 8th, 2008
Who am I? My name doesn’t matter. What I do for a living and how much money I make or don’t matter doesn’t matter and never did. I am the person, like so many others, that live every day feeling the love, joy, happiness, sorrow, anguish, jealousy, resentment, hatred, and then love again of those near and far, for those I know and those I have never met. One second I smile, but not for me for it’s yours. A second later I cry but not for me but for you and the depth of it that you cannot take. A second later I laugh and feel tickled and chased in fun but not from my own experience but from you and the joy you feel in that moment. Then I wake up one day and I feel nothing, see nothing, hear nothing, and smell nothing and I think it’s all gone and all is quiet and there is stillness that is like death and there are no birds chirping and no sound for there is no breeze and I realize for a moment the whole world has gone still. If a pin dropped in China I could probably hear it. Then just as suddenly it all starts again. Who am I? I am an empath.

The Amazing Empath Experience

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008
I know that often times as empaths we spend a lot of time talking about feeling emotions and pain through connections, the pain of knowing the truth of what people feel for us because words and what people actually say to us mean nothing when what we can feel underneath those words differ and turn a simple conversation into a feeling of being stabbed in the heart. I have been to many of the sights and forums on the Internet that are dedicated to the empath experience or have articles related to emapths. It is not often that I come across an article that paints the a picture of beauty in empathy. Maybe that is because through pain and negative emotional feelings it is hard some times to see a beauty that may be right in your face.

Here’s some empath experiences to consider as you go about your day. Look up, around, and allow yourself to feel without fear of what you may connect to. Only then can you truly feel the treasure that was right in your face all along.

As an empath I can close my eye and go back to time of my sons birth and re-experience that emotions of over-whelming love any time I wish. I can sit outside and a breezy day watching the trees sway and pick up a connection to them and sway along with them and feel how awesome it is to be them. I can watch a bird soar through the sky free and actually fell the breeze against my face as I too soar as high and as free, suddenly disconnected from being bound to the earth.

Energy Drainers, Family and Friends

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

Do you have any of these in your life? Unconscious energy drainers? They could be any one in disguise. Parents, siblings, in-laws, neighbors, husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, best friend, someone you think is a friend, etc.

If you are an empath you know where I am going with this. People innocently may be thinking about you, of course thinking that there is no harm in thinking of someone. But maybe your best friend is mad at you because you cancelled on her for a day of shopping. As she is thinking of you and sending out negative energy filled with anger. Guess where that energy is going? That’s right, it is going to the person she is focused on - YOU!

Who’s Acid Reflux Is This? - Learning to Control Empathy

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

Funny title, yes! But that is the reality of empathy. There you sit watching TV one night. You are comfortable, content and enjoying your favorite reality show. Then suddenly you are not feeling well. You think to yourself “Man, what did I eat that gave me this awful feeling of indigestion?” But you can’t think of anything you’ve eaten that has ever made you feel this way before.

Empathy - An Introduction to the Violet Flame

Wednesday, August 13th, 2008

The reason I feel this has everything to do with helping the empath is because the violet flame is transmuting and has the ability to affect change and turn the negative into positive. That’s got EMPATH HELP written all over it. lol.

The Violet Flame comes forth from the violet ray. The violet ray is one of freedom, mercy, forgiveness and transmutation. The ascended master St. Germain, who attained ascension in 1684, bring to us the gift of the violet flame. I think that it is also important to know that because at anytime you can call on St. Germain for help in using the violet flame. St. Germain, serving on the seventh ray, also is known as the “Lord of the Seventh Ray” and is the seventh angel prophesied in Revelation 10:7 who, “when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God shall be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets”.
