Wizard of Oz – Just a Movie or Instructions for Ascension

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

Recently a friend bought up watching the Wizard of Oz and at the time it was one of those moments for me where her mention of it really caught my attention for some reason. A few weeks later as I was writing a letter to a friend to help encourage her through a tough time and the movie came to mind. Usually when writing or speaking with someone I will get information from a higher source by way of little things that suddenly come to mind. It might be a vision of something, thoughts of something specific or even a certain song might pop into my head.

As I typed the letter to my friend and I began to discuss the Wizard of Oz, thinking she is going to think I have totally lost my marbles, it all came flowing out. There’s more to that movie than meets the eye. Watch it and pretend that it is all symbolism and the home Dorothy is trying to get to is the same home that we are all trying to get to. Back to the one, Christ Consciousness, that connection, expanded awareness, OUR HIGHER SELVES.

The movie would still be the same. As she travels her path she meets all kinds of obstacles and no one seems to have the answer to that simple question of how to get home or even can tell her where she is in relation to her home. Can she walk there? Does she need a magically broom to get there? Will she get there before she meets her doom or can she avoid all the pitfalls and still stay totally focused on her goal? As you know she does stay totally focused on her goal to the point where people are getting tired or hearing her asking about getting home. Why can’t you be satisfied with where you are at? It’s so beautiful so why not stay?

All the while people (midgets and such lol) tried to convince her that one man had all the answers for her…that he must cause he was the Great and Powerful Oz. For us sometimes the person is church, government, parents, friends, etc. What happened? Temporarily she believed that this Wizard must have all the answers cause he must be called great and powerful for a reason. The title though was just an illusion as well. She was convinced by many to put her faith in the Wizard and he sent her out to do negative things for him that he couldn’t do cause he was just living in fear himself. Living in fear he was not even in a place where he could help her. It would be like me saying I am gonna get someone who has barely started along their path to lead me and truth that they know the way. Would you trust to devil to lead you to God. Of course not, but the problem was that Dorothy didn’t know her own self and who she was. Everything she needed was inside her to get her home. All she had to do was think of home with love in her heart and click her heels three time. Yeah three times…how’s that for symbolism…three (3) stands for the trilogy. Clicking the heels…the feet…represents mobility, independence and freedom. Taking steps in the right direction and contemplating your goals or your next step. I don’t believe for a minute that the story of the Wizard of Oz was not inspired from a higher source. And look at who she met along the way and the order she met them…yes, I am breaking down the Wizard of Oz…lol. She met first the scarecrow. The scarecrow indicates depression or that you are going through some crisis in your life. Moving on next to the Tin Man…represents mental and intellectual expansion. you are broadening your mind and opening yourself to new experiences…and wasn’t that what she was doing? Then she had to oil him cause he was STUCK and hadn’t been able to MOVE…oil represents that you may need to show more love and compassion in your life. Then the friends suggested BEFORE meeting the lion that she should go to the Wizard for help. Receiving some advice, signifies your high level of integrity and morality. Dorothy had that and it was important for you to see that the person that undertakes this journey has integrity and morality…or would have to acquire them. So then they are confronted by the lion who tries to put fear in them. The symbolism of being attacked by a lion, indicates that you have many obstacles to overcome. You must resist the force that is driving you to self-destruction. Then the lion itself represents great strength, aggression and power. You will overcome your emotions and/or difficulties. As king of the jungle, the lion also represents royalty, leadership, pride and dominion. (God says we as man are to have dominion over the Earth and everything on it…that is something he gave to us by who we are.) The lion says that you have much influence over others (just what God said when he said we had dominion over the Earth). You may also need to exercise restraint in your own personal and social life.

Exercise restraint over what really? Your own emotions…resist the force that could drive you to destruction and isn’t that what the Wizard tried to do when he sent Dorothy and her friends out to retrieve the broom of the wicked witch, thinking all along they would meet their death trying to do it. He sent him down that path that was really a path that led to self-destruction because they could have told him no. The choice was always their own, after all they had FREE-WILL. The lion trying to present himself as fearless was nothing but fearful. Ah, but what was it that he needed to be all that he was meant to be? A HEART! Is it a coincidence that the way to enlightenment is through the heart/heart chakra, the seat of the soul. It turned out that it was something that he had all along and just didn’t know it.

Just as Oz was in sight Dorothy ran into more pitfalls, one being the field of poppies. So there were pitfalls along the way. For some it is drugs which they use to fulfill an emotional need. She fell into that trap but then something so simple saved her from it. Rain. Rain cleanses and when she was cleansed she woke up and still she was focused on the goal and never thought again about the poppies again, except to tell people what she had been through to get to Oz. Oz looked so good but notice it never looked good enough for her to change her mind and decide she would just stay and chill. She then met the Wizard and he was from where she was from but he had accepted defeated and decided to stay in Oz because of the illusion of Oz. The dark ones disguised as members of a beautiful place told him he could be their leader and to his negative ego that sounded very nice since he did aspire to be a Politician. It all looked good to him, but it was just an illusion. Things looked good but it really wasn’t reality and we know it wasn’t because in the end she woke up to realize it was just a dream. No matter how bad or good something is or looks often it is just an illusion and a reality we have created for ourselves that is temporary if we stay focused on the goal. We can chase after lots of money and expensive things that temporarily warm our heart but what it benefits you will be fleeting.

The obstacles in life are just little speed bump along the way and all we have to do is continue having integrity, morality and unconditional love and the rest will follow. Sure it doesn’t always look like we are where we want to be but we must be able to tell what is real versus what is an illusion.

The thing about the movie and Dorothy that stood out most to me was how she always stayed true to who she was. The thing that Yeshua would tell you if late at night you sat at the foot of your bed chatting as you both sipped hazelnut coffee would be that once you know who you are that you could not and never could be or act less than yourself. The very truth of the knowledge would empower you like the lion that didn’t know he was what he wanted to be all along but the fear hid the fact like a veil. As Yeshua said the kingdom of God/heaven is within you.

The Cockroach Animal Totem

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

Who would want a cockroach as their animal totem? Not many, however, the cockroach is a very powerful animal totem to have and even if the cockroach is not your animal totem but just an nasty little visitor coming by to give you a message be thankful.

The cockroach is all about survival and reminds you that no matter what life throws at you, you have all the tools neccessary already at hand to survive even the worst that life can throw at you. The cockroach shows you that you have the ability to know when it’s time to scurry out of the way of danger and also how to survive in all circumstances and environments. And if your see that big slipper coming at you in an attempt to flatten you just know that you have what’s neccessary to move quickly and change direction in a heart beat.

Cockroaches are symbolic of tenacity and longevity and could symbolize the need for renewal, rejuvenation and self-cleansing of your psychological, emotional, or spiritual being.

Meaning of the Mockingbird Totem - Finding Your Soul Song

Monday, April 27th, 2009

mockingbird

Yesterday after seeing the TWO male cardinal’s I asked for further information through a sign. My other totem appeared, the Mockingbird, with it’s beautiful song. It landed on the fence directly in front of me and then did a couple of hops up and down turning until it was facing in the same direction as me and with it’s back to me. Often when the Mockingbird appears to me it does a turning around as though to show me it’s whole self as though for recognition…so I will know which bird it is. Then it spread it’s wings showing the color pattern. This is actually something a mockingbird does when looking for food. The white in it’s wings that shows when they are spread like that reflects the sunlight and alarms insect that around and when the insect move from being alarmed the Mockingbird can spot them…for food. This act shows an ability to stimulate a response in others and is a part of what the Mockingbird has to teach. It can help by teaching you to flush out injurious insects aka people in your life and teach you to hear the true song of others.

The main thing that the Mockingbird has to offer though is helping you to find your sacred song (soul purpose) and recognizing your innate abilities/talents. Being a couragous bird it teaches us that we can move forward with our goals and bring forth that talent we have without fear of what others will think because regardless of how others may see you they will notice your actions and not your appearance.

I think it is interesting that I have the Mockingbird as one of my totem animals because I am an empath and it has a talent for mimicry. Mockingbirds can imitate other birds, cats, and even dogs. Some mockingbirds have a repertory of over 30 songs and calls of other birds. Mockingbirds will live close to humans because they are not afraid. They also like company, reflecting the idea that songs should be shared. They sing throughout the entire year, and will even sing while flying, which is rare among birds. They have also been known to sing by moonlight. The mockingbird can teach you about the power of song and voice. I can imagine that Jamie Foxx must have the Mockingbird as his animal totem.

Then last night I dreamed…well I was singing and although I don’t remember what song I was singing I remember that my mother and father were there and I remember thinking of what they are thinking about my singing talent because in the dream my voice was loud, clear and strong. In my dream I was an excellent singer. lol. I was in a garage and the door was being closed as I was belting out some song. The meaning? If you are closing the garage door, then it suggests that you are putting off your goals for the sake of others around you. Well, that’s the answer I was looking for because the question I asked was regarding my BF, ex-BF, being my soul mate. The mockingbird is telling me it is time for me to move forward and fully realize my talents and focus on my goals.

If you are interested in animal totems then I recommend the book “Animal-Speaks” by Ted Andrews. It was recommended to me a little over a year ago when I was struggling with learning to use my clairsentience. I didn’t understand it at the time and what it had to do with clairsentience but the person who recommended it knew why I would need this book in the future…I guess saw that I would have an animal kingdom thing going on. lol.

Then on top of everything else there is a song that has been stuck in my head all morning. Barbara Streisand is singing in my head the song “My Man.” I love that song…ummmm, but it has been playing in my head for HOURS now. I mean I like it but can I get another station for a while. lol.

Meaning of TWO Male Cardinal’s

Monday, April 27th, 2009

In the previous post I discussed my encounters, including yesterday’s encounter the day after an issue I had in my relationship, with two cardinals. Well today I was sitting on the back porch and thinking about things, what I thought the problems were, and wondering how they could be resolved so we could be together. Soul mate relationships are very hard because soul mates have an agreement to help each other with their respective issues in life. It’s very much a, I help you, you help me bond. Anyway, as I was thinking about it a cardinal flew in and sat on the fence closets to me. Looking at me he tilted his head back and forth seeming to be gesturing. It was as though someone had muted the volume but you could still see his head and lips moving. Lol. I looked over a few feet and saw another cardinal sitting on the ground and HE flew up on the adjacent fence. “It’s two males!” I thought to myself.

You see I have only been visited so far by male and female pairs. This stood out of course to me. TWO MALE CARDINALS! Cardinals speak of balance…ahhhh but two male and I see an imbalance. And I thought “yes! There is an imbalance in the give and take.” The number two itself speaks of balance and duality. Then I remember something I have been getting in tarot cards. Sacrifice, but at the time I didn’t understand because I thought it was speaking of some sacrifice I was making or needed to make. Nope…cardinal’s message is the answer to “how can we be together? What will it take for us to be able to be together?”

Balance and sacrifice. The sacrifice that is needed is on his part. With a little sacrifice on his part there will be the balance that is lacking and seriously, desperately needed.

Cardinal Totem Symbolism and Meaning

Cardinal Totem

One of my favorite animal totems is the cardinal. The cardinal medicine includes:

  • Courtship
  • Fatherhood.
  • Understanding the power of the wind.
  • Finding your soul song.
  • Renewed Vitality through Recognizing Self-Importance.
  • Cycle of Power: Year-Round (often with rythm of 12-hours, days, months, and years).

I love it when they visit with their distinctive and loud chirping. The hawk is also one of my totem animals and introductions were made by two cardinals, a male and female. How? Loud persistant chirping of the two cardinals that did not stop until I stepped out on my back porch. I was trying to write until I realized they had been both chirping for a very long time and so loud it sounded like they were right outside by back door. Once on my back porch they immediately stopped chripping and just sat silently starring at me and before I could think anything of it I saw the hawk sitting on an adjacent part of the fence. I immediately felt my heart chakra speed up. I had that morning asked God for a sign of something that had been on my mind. Once I spotted the hawk the cardinals job seemed to be done an they flew off and left me and the hawk alone…me frozen in awe never having seen a hawk that close up before and feeling so blessed in that moment.

But now doesn’t that all make sense since the cardinal is known for their loud whistle, a whistle that penetrates the air with sharp distinct tones. They demand our attention, urging us to hear what is carried through the air. So when the cardinal appear in your life it is time to pay attention for starters.

And what about the male versus the female? The male is the almost all red brightly beautiful of the two. Often whistling together this reflects the need to integrate our male and female characteristics into our day to day life. Feminine energy is linked to intuition; Male energy to perseverance. If both are operating within our life, our intuitive knowledge has the perseverance and strength necessary to manifest our goals and dreams. So you need to also note whether you are receiving a visit from the male, female, or both.

What I find most interesting about the female cardinal is that her eggs hatch 12 days after they are laid. This, along with the cardinal’s year-round residency, reflects the rhythm of the number twelve. The number twelve often has important significance for those with this totem. It can indicate a turn of events or a life changing situation. When the cardinal flies into your life expect a change to occur within 12 days, 12 weeks, 12 months or at the hour of 12. Because this bird is a year-round resident, its medicine is available at all times and should be used by those with this totem whenever a need arises.

Also note the cardinals eating habits. They eat decaying weeds and injurious insects. So the cardinal appearing to you could also be a clue to check your eating habits. Is there a reason to receive this type of warning? Past life ties to overindulgence or the consumption of poisonous substances is often linked to cardinal medicine people. Extra care should be given to the blood and circulatory system and that ties into the bright red blood color of the cardinal which is very symbolic.

Red represents the blood or life force of the Mystic Christ. In yoga circles this vital force is known as the kundalini. The kundalini lies dormant within us until activated by a disciplined spiritual practice. Once activated spiritual power can be attained. The cardinal offers safe passage into the world of personal power for those who ask for its help.

Cardinals are named for the cardinals of the Roman Catholic Church with their bright red robes. A great love or a strong dislike for religion and churches is common amongst cardinal medicine people and can indicate a past life connection with one or both.

Cardinals brighten the environment. They catch the eye and add color to our lives. When they appear as a totem, they do so to remind us to become like them. Add color to your life, and remember that everything you do is of importance.

Ant Symbolism and Meaning

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

It’s okay if you laugh a little. Yes, I am writing about the ant. I recently read on a website that “everything occurring in our external lives is a result, symptom, or reflection of our internal life.  And so, we can effectively look at our life situations as a metaphor or parable.  This is where symbolism (and the knowledge of it) becomes quite effective in determining solutions to our concerns. http://symbolic-meanings.com/2008/10/14/symbolism-of-creepy-crawlies-in-the-home/.” Very well put, don’t you think?

What lead me to find the meaning of the ant is that these industrious little creatures for some time now have been finding their way in my home. Lots of them. No matter how hard I try to do things to deter them from coming…they just keep coming. And they seem to be coming from no-where. I mean there is no line of them leading back to a door or a window with a crack. A friend suggested that they are coming in through the walls or underground. Possible yes, but more and more I began feeling there was something more to it because I could keep other creatures/bugs away, so why not the ants.

A day after I was release (okay…I released myself) from the hospital where surrounding that visit I had gotten repeated number symbolism of 411 and 432 (6 or information and 9) I was again battling ants. I decided to look up the symbolism and meaning surrounding them and what I found matches up with what has been going on in my life and things I am working on. I thought I would share with you in case you have experienced this too and like me you thought an ant was just an ant…maybe it was, but just possibly maybe it was not. hmmmm.

Insects are progressive, and proactive - always adapting to the environment, and never letting little things like natural disasters get in their way of progress. When we get discouraged, we could all learn a thing or two from insect animal totem meanings. It’s their unsinkable nature that reminds us to keep moving forward for progress.

Native American Meaning -

Ant medicine calls to our attention patience, persistence and endurance. While I sat there and listened, I thought about my level of patience and the nature of the topic at hand. “Ant people” know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. It also says, “what is yours will come to you.”  It tells you that with trust and patience, God will provide.

Chinese Meaning -

The Chinese identify the ant as “the righteious insect” and attribute orderliness, virtue, and patriotism to it; an alternate symbolism is subordination, especially that of the tireless and dutiful servant.

Islamic Meaning -

Islamic tradition honors the ant as the earthly teacher of Solomon, and an embodiment of wisdom.

Early Christian Meaning -

Go to the ant, O sluggard, and consider her ways. Proverbs 6:6

Possible Dream Meaning -

Carrying your own weight; strength; industrious. Also can symbolize annoyance, little things that bug you. Hard work, strict discipline, team work and conformity.  Also conformity to society, a need to cooperate, a cult representing overwhelming obedience to a group. Possibly also something that bugs you or pesters you. It is very important to ask the question of what does the ant make you think of since the meaning can differ so widely from person to person. Compare the meanings to what is currently going on in your life, problem, what has been bothering you or what you have recently ask for help with.

The Dragonfly Symbolism

Friday, October 3rd, 2008

I have noticed through reading message boards and talking to friends that often while we are developing at times we are greatly affected by “the unknown.” Such as, for example, not knowing what changes are coming next, unknown spirit presences, etc. Some times the unknown are things in our daily life such as not knowing whether husband and wife will be able to work their problems out and stay together or will divorce. Often the unknown can cause great anxiety which in turn can effect whether we can sleep, eat, focus, or just function normally in general.

Often when i am feeling anxiety or feeling anything for that matter that I don’t understand what the cause of it is I talk to my guides about it. I know that they will let me know one way or the other what is going on with me or simply a sign of whether there is even any real reason to even be feeling anxious.

So today was one of those days and I was talking to my guide about it when suddenly a dragonfly flew by…but on his way by he stop dead in his tracks (so to speaks) and hovered almost perfectly still in front of my patio screen door as though he stopped specifically to say hi to me. That I can honestly say has never happened before. Then in case I wasn’t paying attention my dog started acting weird and at the same time I heard my printer turn on. When it turns on its pretty loud so there is no mistaking it because the device inside it slides over when the power button is pushed. It’s a large Dell 5 in 1 printer with a flat bed scanner…so it is fairly large too. I went over and checked it but the printer was off. Well my guides make noises all the time when I am talking to them so I am use to it so I knew right away that was just to make sure I knew the dragonfly was in fact a symbol for me and not just a coincidence (which I don’t beleive in coincidences anyway).

About the Dragonfly

Dragonflies are old and adaptive insects, and are most powerful in the summer under the effects of warmth and sunlight. They are fantastic flyers, darting like light, twisting, turning, changing direction, even going backwards as the need arises. They are inhabitants of two realms - starting with water, and moving to the air with maturity, but staying close to water.

Their colors are a result of reflecting and refracting the power of light. As a result, they are associated with color magic, illusion in causing others only to see what you wish, and other mysticism.

Dragonflies are often represented in Japanese paintings, representing new light and joy. To some Native Americans they are the souls of the dead. Faerie stories say that they used to be real dragons.

Dragonflies are reminders that we are light and can reflect the light in powerful ways if we choose to do so. “Let there be light” is the divine prompting to use the creative imagination as a force within your life.

The Meaning

I am posting this info as is and giving the link because for all your animal symbolism needs you need to bookmark this site, it’s awesome…http://www.whats-your-sign.com/animal-symbolism-dragonfly.html.

As a creature of the wind, the dragonlfy totem represents change. It’s iridescent wings are incredibly sensitive to the slightest breeze, and so we are reminded to heed where the proverbial wind blows - lest we run into stormy weather.

Dragonflies are also creatures of the water, and any creature whose habitat is in, or around water carries symbolism relative the the subconscious, or “dreaming” mind and thoughts.

This is because in the animal world, water is symbolic of the subconscious mind (”deeper mind,” “dreaming mind”) and relates to the thoughts we have in relaxed/meditative/sleeping/subconscious states.

Dragonflies carry messages that deal with deeper thought - and they ask that we pay attention to our deeper thoughts and desires.

Why This Makes Sense to Me

Last night I couldn’t sleep even though I was so tired. Every time I closed my eyes I would immediately start seeing things and having visions. Every time I did manage to doze off I would immediately start dreaming and for some reason disturbing to me like a nightmare is disturbing although nothing about what I was seeing should have bothered me. But I would just let the visions come. I kept stopping them because like I said for some reason they were freaking me out. Right before I saw the dragonfly I was talking to my guide about the visions and why I kept stopping them and the unexplained anxiety I had been feeling.

Notice in the section above says “Dragonflies are also creatures of the water, and any creature whose habitat is in, or around water carries symbolism relative the the subconscious, or “dreaming” mind and thoughts. This is because in the animal world, water is symbolic of the subconscious mind (”deeper mind,” “dreaming mind”) and relates to the thoughts we have in relaxed/meditative/sleeping/subconscious states.”

To me there are two messages here for me.

One is about change. Yes I am going through lots of changes in many different ways and aspects of my life.

The other message for me is an answer. The question was…I told my guide that I know I kept stopping the visions instead of just going with the flow and letting them come. I asked for another chance to do this because I have been stopping visions from coming like I did last night for some time now and for the same reason. Something would make me feel uncomfortable and uneasy. Same thing that use to happen when I first started hearing spirit voices outside my head when I was in the inbetween awake and asleep state. So this is my confirmation that we will be trying this again, if not tonight then very soon. lol.

Dream Interpretation - Unresolved Family/Inner Child Issues

Friday, September 26th, 2008

THE DREAM

I was it what looked like my living room but it looks bigger and even more open. There were lots of toy all over the place. There was a little black girl that was looked to be about 5 years old…she looked like how I looked when I was that age and had this cute little dress on that looks like one I had. She was so sweet looking and innocent. She was playing. She walk over to this coffee table that looked like the coffee table from when we lived in Newburgh, NY. But she tripped or feel over something and hit the table in a weird way where she hit it with her whole body bent over it and hit it also so hard on the top that she was knocked out cold. I freaked and ran over and grabbed her and held her in my arms and started screaming for help. My mother had been out in the back yard and came running in. She said something about “You spanked her so hard that she passed out?!” I got pissed and said of course not. I was really mad that she said that. Then I tried to explain what happened.

INTERPRETATION

Unresolved issues going back to when I was a little girl. Issues that were never dealt with. From the time I was little I was bullied and control by my parents and still to this day they bully me, guilt trip me and try to control me. The harder I fight back and try and resist them the uglier it gets. In my waking state I feel like I am fighting two of the worlds scariest demons. This dream clearly shows the unresolved issues and also the fact that I am clueless to how to resolve the issues and how much it is bothering me. The in my face scarey confrontations with harsh hurtful words that I experience quite often from my mother happens again in this dream…it is about my feelings of my parents always blaming me for everything and always pointing the finger like “What did you do now?!” And also shows how I always react by trying desperately to explain myself almost as though I have to convince her of how things really are versus the way she is seeing them and misunderstanding me.

My inner child is still cowering in the corner afraid to come out because she is still not as strong as these people who are her parents. I still don’t know how to deal with the bullies who torture me but I don’t let people see how bad things are inside and I portray a person who is totally together, strong and can handle anything.

SYMBOLISM/MEANINGS

Living Room - To dream that you are in the living room, represents the image that you portray to others and the way which you go about your life. It is representative of your basic beliefs about yourself and who you are.

Furniture - Represents how you feel about yourself and your family. It refers to your relationships with others and how they fit into your life.

Coffee Table – Wood and always super polished. I remember it as not ever having anything on it. It was actually a very inexpensive coffee table but with that high gloss finish and the way my mother kept it polished it looked very expensive and classy. “Looks can be deceiving!”

Furniture & High Polished Coffee Table – Putting the two together makes more sense to me. Now it reminds me of those activities children do in school where they pick ou which object does not belong. That coffee table most definitely does not belong in my life. If it were in my living room it would stick out like a sore thumb. It would be the one thing you could point out and say that it does not belong. And regarding how I feel about myself and my family I feel that we are all living a big fat lie. I feel that my parents have pulled off the biggest charade, posing as loving parents and spouse that are kind and supportive. I see them as wolves in sheeps clothing and they put the sheep costume on for family and friends but they do not wear the sheep costumes for me…they take it off behind closed doors and show their true colors with sharp claws and all.

Toys – Childhood, Domestic Joy and Harmony. They were in the living room so it means that I try to make it seem that domestically everything is fine. Maybe also about my childhood and how I feel that there was an appearance that everything was perfect when things were far from perfect in my world.

Little girl – longing for the past and the chance to satisfy repressed desires and unfulfilled hopes. Take some time off and cater to the inner child within. Perhaps there is something that you need to see grow and nurtured. Also signifies my attempts to save a part of myself from being destroyed.

Little girl being hurt - signifies wounded emotions or feelings that you may have suppressed. You need to address these feelings in order to properly heal.

Little girl being knocked out - unable to consciously confront the issues or the topic that is being raised by the unconscious. In the dream, internal forces, images or emotions that may be to powerful for us to process may have an overwhelming effect on the dream ego and passing out/fainting occurs. Fainting in your dream suggests that you are unable to consciously confront the issues or the topic that is being raised by the unconscious. In daily life, we faint when we are ill or when we are overcome by environmental forces (i.e. heat, smells, a traumatic event or a dramatic visual image). The fainting dream may be the first step in a process of becoming more aware of a particular area of your life.

My Childhood – Part of this dream has things from my childhood. The coffee table… some childhood anxiety has yet to be resolved in your adult life. That is so true and what has been bothering me lately.

My mother - To dream that you are having a conversation with your mother, denotes a matter that has preoccupied your mind and you are not sure how to deal with it in your waking life. It indicates unresolved problems that still need to be worked out with your mother.
